"14th Annual Traditional Gathering"

This September 5th, 6th, and 7th
of 2003 the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation will hold it's 14th Annual
Traditional Gathering Pow wow. Native American singers and dancers from
through out the USA and Canada will travel here to participate in the
Pow wow. The beauty of the singing and dancing is spectacular to behold.
There will be a multitude of arts and crafts venders here that will
sell art pieces made by traditional and contemporary artesian. Art's
& crafts booths will sell beautiful handmade sterling silver jewelry,
beadwork, pottery, dream catchers, and chokers. Vistors may also taste
the Native American foods which will be located in the food court, next
to the pow wow grounds. Limited camping is available on a first come-first
serve basis. So come early and stay late. This event is FREE and OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC, so bring your own chairs, appetite, and smile. Let's
get ready to Pow wow. Drugs and Alcohol are NOT permitted on or near
the Pow-Wow grounds. The Pow-Wow Committee is NOT responsible for lost
or stolen items.
